A guy in Washington died after getting pierced in the heart with a shard of his exploding lava lamp. Inexplicably, he set the lamp on the burner of his stove, which caused the liquid to heat up and explode. He somehow managed to collapse and die in his bedroom, where police later found him, after the shard pierced his chest.
What I wonder is what he must have been thinking --- he knew he was going to die and he must have known that he didn't have time to clean up the evidence.
